German dj and producer Tom Cloud is set to release his new album The Sky Is The Limit later this month.
“I wanted to put serious effort into it and in order to focus on what I wanted and what I know my fans enjoy, I tried to keep a balance between a lot of feeling in the music and the progressive and trancey sound that I’m known for,” he says.
For the new album, he decided to work with one vocalist – Antonia Lucas – to create new tracks such as Do It Over, Crazy 4 U and 4 O’Clock In The Morning – which is a cover version of Beverley Craven’s 1990s hit Promise Me.
The first single from the album is C-Sharp, a rework of Cloud’s favourite trance track by Benno De Goeij.
The Sky Is The Limit also features tunes such as Nightingale, Stella, Confusion and Empire.
Tom Cloud – The Sky Is The Limit will be released on Black Hole Recordings on 16 July 2012.
