One of the most famous DJs in the world has given an interview to CNN International’s Talk Asia programme.
DJ Tiësto spoke to Anna Coren about his career, his lifestyle and what he does when he’s not working.
“Of course, you know, I work day and night and I’m always on the road, always travelling, always working in the city where I do my gig, so there’s not much spare time,” he says about his packed schedule travelling the world and performing.
“I’m very happy to just chill in my bed and watch movies or just go to the beach and read a book or magazine or something. I’m really happy not to do anything when I’m not working so that’s fun,” he comments about the times he’s not on planes, playing to thousands of people, or collaborating and creating music with artists around the world.
He also discusses how he got into the music industry, what it was like to play at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, and what the future holds for one of the most hard-working DJs in the business.
