The first Pacha club was opened just outside Barcelona in 1967 soon followed by Pacha Ibiza in 1973.

In 2013, therefore, the clubbing super-brand celebrates a 40th anniversary.

Pacha Future Dance 2013 is a new compilation which “is a salute to the influence the super-club has had on dance music since its inception, but with a particular focus on future dance music” according to the label.

Mix01 features tracks by Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia, Ferry Corsten and Sander van Doorn.

Mix02 includes tracks by Turntable Orchestra, Umek, Basto and Swanky Tunes.

The label promises “if you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting a Pacha club over the last forty years this compilation will take you back there, and if you’ve never been it will make you want to go and see what all the fuss is about, guaranteed!”

Pacha Future Dance 2013 is released on New state Music on 18 February 2013.  In the meantime, why not pre-order?
