One of Europe’s biggest EDM and dance festivals, BigCityBeats World Club Dome, recently hosted a party in the sky courtesy of the Air Charter Service.

One hundred guests began their weekend of clubbing at thirty thousand feet on an Airbus A340 between London and Germany before the main World Club Dome event took place in Frankfurt in June.

The aircraft was configured in such a way there was enough room for decks, a sound system and a dance floor. DJ sets were performed by 19 year old DJ and producer Curbi and Frans Zimmer, otherwise known as Alle Farben.

“We were excited to be tasked with arranging this special charter again and, as in previous years, some of the biggest DJs on the bill kicked off the weekend for passengers,” said Caroline Werf, Managing Director of Air Charter Service Germany.

“Curbi and Alle Farben both performed DJ sets on the aircraft as it flew from London to Munich and then on to Frankfurt. After touching down, the party continued at the Commerzbank Arena. As well as all the dance floors, there was also a pool area to cool off in, a camping area and a helipad.”

World Club Dome turns Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena into the “world’s biggest club” and the festival has featured performances from the likes of Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix and deadmau5.

The next World Club Dome event takes place at the Esprit-Arena in Dusseldorf on 16-18 November 2018
